Join the IWL, CSB Senate, and guest presenter Sandra Kim, Founder and Executive Director of Everyday Feminism, to discuss and understand how to apply an intersectional lens to their work, wrestle with challenges of being intersectional on a personal and organizational level, and identify how to work in solidarity with others.

Bennies perform alongside Slam Poet Kyla Lacey. This will showcase Bennie talent on campus especially around the topics that promote empowerment, self-confidence, strength, unity, and self-love. IWL and JEC want this to be an event that celebrates women and allows for Bennies to engage in self-expression in community with one another.

Bennies to the Gulf

CSB Alumnae Siri Berg-Moberg and Grace Werner along with their two other partners will be coming to talk about their canoe trip down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. They will mix stories from their excursion with tips and tricks about planning your own long-term wilderness adventure

Founder of Higher Definition: Leadership and Empowerment Coaching, LaToya travels the country teaching individuals how to find their purpose and voice. Her mentorship encouraged individuals to speak up and be active advocates in their community.
