Instructional Technology offers physical media duplication and conversion services for non-copyrighted and CSB/SJU created materials. In most instances, Instructional Technology will need to obtain a version of the original media to make copies from. However, if you need a copy of a video that was originally made within the last 2 years by Media Services or Instructional Technology, please contact our office as we may still have a copy of that video on file.
We can make multiple copies of a DVD or CD, or convert videos into a desired digital file format. For digital files, once the file conversion is complete, we have multiple options for sending or sharing the file. For duplication to disc, Instructional Technology can copy the materials to DVDs or CDs that are given to us or we can supply our own discs. If Instructional Technology materials are used for duplication, then a cost-of-materials fee will be applied to the service. All Instructional Technology supplied discs include a printed label and case.
The Instructional Technology department of CSB/SJU follows the Code of Conduct for members of the Consortium of College and University Media Centers (CCUMC) with regard to copyright matters. Instructional Technology will not be able to duplicate media with copyrighted content in most situations. Please review our Copyright Policy for more information.
