Retail Attendant

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Culinary Services for the College of Saint Benedict, invite applications for the benefit eligible (80%) position of Retail Attendant.  This position works between 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.  Flexibility is neccessary.   Responsible for the prepping, production, and appearance of assigned station.  Duties may include but are not limited to: Operate register; coordinates the preparation of all retail items; assist the Executive Chef in menu and recipe development for retail; ensures timely delivery of prepared foods to retail area; ensures proper care, cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned spaces and equipment; ensures proper handling of leftovers and completes production sheets; directs, trains, and advises regular and student workers in execution of assigned duties; assists in general cleanliness of dining facility during off peak times and observes and implements safety and sanitation procedures. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma required, 9-12 months related experience or training preferred; good verbal and interpersonal skills; a good sense of timing and accuracy in weights and measures; ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs; ability to work shift and weekends as assigned.
