Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you decide on this program?

I wanted to experience South America.

Briefly describe a specific cultural experience you had on your program that made a lasting impression.

The way Chileans spoke, the speed they had along with the friendliness of another country. First time out of the country for me.

Describe your overall study abroad experience.

Best semester of college. The connections that I made had a huge impact on me.

Based on your experiences abroad, what are some of the benefits of spending a semester abroad? How has studying abroad contributed to your personal, academic, and professional development?

Studying abroad allows you to experience another culture.

What advice can you offer for CSB+SJU students who are considering or planning to study abroad?

Make sure you learn about the area you’re going to.
