  • ENGL 382 Race and Ethnicity in U. S. Literature (4) (spring alternate years) OR ENGL 383 Post-Colonial Literature (4) (spring only)
  • ENGL 387 Intro to Linguistics (4) (fall only)
  • COMM 103 Mass Communication and Society (4)
  • COMM 200 Public Speaking Basics (2) (fall only)
  • COMM 252 Listening Basics (2) (Fall only)
  • 8 additional credits of English electives

*The English Department strongly recommends ENGL 352: Shakespeare as 4 of the elective credits

Total number of English/Communiation Credits must be 44 credits or more.
