Geena Davis will deliver the Centennial Renaissance Lecture at the College of
Saint Benedict. Davis is best known for her roles in Thelma & Louise, A
League of Their Own, Beetlejuice, and Stuart Little. She won an
Academy Award for her performance in The Accidental Tourist and a Golden
Globe for her starring role in Commander in Chief. Davis is the founder
of The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, which works to increase the
presence of female characters in media aimed at children and to reduce
stereotyping of females by the male-dominated industry.

free and open to the public.
