Going into college I had no idea what my four years would look like. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to find my niche and would never feel comfortable. After working through my first year, I fell in love with Saint Ben's. I became involved with the orientation program, immersed myself in my Global Business major, made lifelong friends, and became active in clubs around campus.
My sophomore year was a blast, but my college experience became something unbelievable when I was accepted into the Entrepreneurship Scholar Program. I received the McNeely scholarship and for the past two years have developed into an entrepreneur and business woman. I traveled to Silicon Valley and met with successful entrepreneurs, I'm working on my own venture called Bennies in Business, and this winter I will be traveling to China to meet with entrepreneurs in Hong Kong and China.
My experience and growth into an entrepreneur wouldn't have been possible without the support I received from my family and friends, but also from the generous donors and support system at Saint Ben's. These past three years have been unforgettable and my experience at Saint Ben's is irreplaceable. Once I graduate, I hope I can give back just as so many have done for me. Once a Bennie, always a Bennie.
