The links below show suggested courses for students who intend to major in fields other than chemistry and biochemistry as well as for those who are uncetain.
In our new courses, we have separated the "lecture" and lab components into separate courses. We assume that most students will take the separate lab courses for one credit, as then their lab work will be rewarded with an earned credit. We have included a zero credit option so that a student needing to take 18 credits will not need to pay extra tuition for a 19th credit if they are also taking a chemistry 202 lab. Students will still receive a letter grade on their transcript even if they opt for the zero credit option.
