  FACULTY RESIDENT, RESIDENCE DIRECTOR or STUDENT EMPLOYMENT SUPERVISOR: RECOMMENDATION FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP STUDIES PROGRAM (Entrepreneur Scholars)

  

TO THE APPLICANT: When requesting this recommendation, please meet with your Faculty Resident/Residence Director to discuss and evaluate your qualifications for and interests in the unique opportunities and challenges of the experiences you will encounter when you participate in the Entrepreneur Scholars Program.  It would be helpful to show him/her the descriptions of the three courses you will be taking (available on the website: www.csbsju.edu/cfe).  If you do not know your Faculty Resident/Residence Director, please give this form to a coach, work-study supervisor, or another staff or faculty person who can comment on your entrepreneurial orientation and who knows how you relate with others.

Faculty Resident/Residence Director (or alternate): Students participating in the Entrepreneur Scholars Program should possess an entrepreneurial mindset.  People with an entrepreneurial mindset are action oriented and have a high tolerance for ambiguity.  They are persistent, independent, and are able to craft lofty visions.  The E-Scholars students will also be traveling in the United States and Asia with a cohort group.  As one familiar with the day-to-day living and working patterns of the applicant, please rank him/her with other students you know.
