2013 Volunteer Fair Organization Details

The 16th annual Volunteer Fair sponsored by Career Services and Campus Ministry at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University will be held  on October 30, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Each year we have over 200 students choosing to participate in "alternative spring break" trips at 15 sites around the country.  We also have approximately 60-70 students choosing to become full-time volunteers in domestic and international volunteer organizations.  We will be promoting the Fair campus-wide; we want to encourage underclass women and men to start thinking about the possibilities of volunteer service after graduation. (For those of you not familiar with our campus, the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University are about 5 miles apart with students participating in a coordinate educational experience.)

This year, the Volunteer Fair will be held at the College of Saint Benedict.  We will provide a 6-8 foot table, table signage and lunch for registered participants.  A confirmation letter will be emailed to the contact person listed on your registration form after the October 16th registration deadline.  Please print the registration form; mail the completed form along with the $25 fee (includes one lunch) and $5 for each additional lunch request.  Should you have questions, please feel free to email Jackie Miller or  call Career Services at  320-363-5707.  In addition to our fair, the College of St. Scholastica (Duluth, MN) will be hosting a volunteer fair on Octouber 31st.  Contact:  Diane Swanoski, 218-723-6085 for information regarding the St. Scholastica Fair.

We welcome the participation of your organization at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University Fair on October 30.  We  look forward to hosting you this year at  the College of Saint Benedict.
