Career Services announces new resources for students

Career Services has launched CareerBuzz, an e-newsletter sent to students twice a month. CareerBuzz promotes upcoming events, highlights career-related news, provides alum and intern profiles, and links students to important resources on our website. The e-newsletter articles cover such topics as how study abroad can affect a job search, choosing a major, writing personal statements and volunteering. First -year and sophomore students

Juniors and seniors

During fall semester, Career Services will offer Career Planning, a one-credit course intended to increase students understanding of themselves in relation to their academic and career goals. Students enrolled in the course will engage in major and career exploration and develop their career tools (resumes, interviewing, networks, technology). The course is intended for sophomore-level students.

We encourage you to have a conversation with your child about these new resources and make sure they aren't missing out on opportunities that can help their career.
