Pseudonym

What is Pseudonym?

  1. A club for writers!
  2.  A forum for the presentation and discussion of student work in creative and non-fictional writing. 

What does it do?

  1. Facilitates programs designed to bring professional authors and students together.
  2. Plans events and excursions for students to present their own literature and listen to the work of others! 
  3. Organizes the annual Poetry Slam event. The event  brings professional poets to St. Ben's/St. John's to perform alongside local, amateur poets from the college.

Mission Statement

Pseudonym was created out of a desire to encourage student involvement in the literary arts circles of St. Ben's/St. John's and the surrounding community. In accordance with the Benedictine tradition of CSB/SJU, Pseudonym hopes to build a community of students interested in writing and thereby to provide support and encouragement to academic endeavors in literature.
