Judy Purman joined CSB in August 2010 as the Director of the Office of Sustainability. She brings 20 years of experience in strategic planning, environmental compliance, program development and carbon footprint determination. Her overarching challenge in this newly created position is to coordinate, develop and implement strategies for sustainable practices campus-wide. She enjoys camping and travel with her family, fabric art, board games and her dog. |

Megan Coleman is a senior at the College of Saint Benedict pursuing a major in Environmental Studies with a minor in Biology and a focus in Ecology. Megan has always been interested in sustainability ever since she took her first steps on the CSB campus starting with her involvement in the Sustainability Alliance and volunteer work at the Arboretum. She also holds interests in gardening (Megan has a nice pumpkin patch at home!), star gazing, hiking, canoeing, biking, and really anything to do with the outdoors. Megan is excited to work at the Sustainability Office this fall and hopes for a green and bright future. |

Emily Reimer is a Junior Environmental Studies major. She is actively involved in Sustainability Alliance and the Eco-Reps on campus. She was previously an intern for the office and worked on Campus Conservation Nationals and the LEED certification process for Centennial Commons. Currently, she is focusing on projects for the Eco-Reps and hopefully many other exciting things. In general, she enjoys being a political activist and trying new foods. |

Dan Anfinson is a Junior at Saint John's University pursuing a major in Business Management with a focus in biology. Dan first became intrigued with sustainability while taking walks in the woods near his cabin. He now takes walks through the Abroretum to fulfill his woodsy curiosity. He also enjoys ultimate frisbee, soccer, and canoeing. Dan is eager to work at the Office of Sustainability this semester and hopes to start an alternative energy company after college. |

Kirubel Negash a junior majoring in Political Science and Peace Studies at St. John's University. He is working on a program known as The Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System, also known as STARS. Those working on STARS gain the ability to see how sustainable the Saint Benedict campus is and what can be done to improve the campus. His interest in issues concerning the environment started when he worked for SJU Dinning Services. He is excited to work with the Sustainability Office this spring and hopes to create a better and more sustainable environment. During Kirubel's academic year, he works for SJU Residential Life as a Resident Assistant. |

Amanda Wicker is a senior at the College of Saint Benedict pursuing a degree in Biology and Business Management. As an intern, she will assist in further development of the Sustainability Student Worker Network as well as the Sustainable Foods program. She considers herself a travel junkie and is always up for a good road trip. She also enjoys spending time with her family, attending hockey games, wasting a day away out on the lake, and reading almost any James Patterson book. |

(Tulip) Jie Zhang is a Senior studying Environmental Studies. She is working with the Engineering Firm, Barr to assist with the CSB Campus landscape master plan. She also works on the Sustainable Food program. She believes that appropriate management of land use, energy consumption, and life style will make the world more sustainable. She is interested in making art, photography, travel, camping, and spending time with her family. |
