Green Bikes
CSB Students make Green Bike Program a huge success: The program was featured on WJON News.
Eco-house: SJU is launching a new initiative, an eco-house. Six Johnnies will be learning about how to cut their footprint in thei daily lives. Their house and their existing eco-house at CSB was featured on the MN2020 blog.
Year of Sustainability Interview
The Year of Sustainability was the topic of conversation on the pregame show. Check out the audio Clip at 39 minutes to hear what the Year of Sustainability is all about as well as what it means to us.
Orientation
Mo Overland was featured on WJON, for her work with Orientation. "Protect the environment, a key message at St. Ben's, St. John's.
Orientation featured messages of sustainability including recycling, getting out in the Arboretum, and taking the Link. All first years were given a reusable water bottle to encourage them not to use bottled water. Orientation also cut the amount of paper that they used by eliminating binders.
