Music Performance
Students choosing this concentration, upon recommendation of the faculty, demonstrate the highest levels of performance proficiency and capability. The Performance concentration requires a larger and more difficult amount of repertoire with added performance responsibilities. This degree sequence is intended for students who have the potential and are considering graduate study in their performance area. Detailed monitoring is done by the studio teacher with support from faculty within each division of the department.
Students are reminded to consult with their music department faculty advisor prior to each registration.

All music majors are required to demonstrate basic musicianship, performance ability on a major instrument and piano proficiency (if the major instrument is other than keyboard). Participation in a choral and/or instrumental ensemble is required of majors in all concentrations. All seniors successfully complete a final project as their concentration requires.
