Pseudonym

Pseudonym was created out of a desire to encourage student involvement in the literary arts circles of St. Ben's/St. John's and the surrounding community. In accordance with the Benedictine tradition of CSB/SJU, Pseudonym hopes to build a community of students interested in writing and thereby to provide support and encouragement to academic endeavors in literature.

• Provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of student work in creative and non-fictional writing.
• Facilitates programs designed to bring professional authors and students together.
• Plans events and excursions for students to experience the presentation of literature in the St. Cloud and Minneapolis area.
• Organizes the annual Poetry Slam event, which brings professional poets to St. Ben's/St. John's to perform alongside local, amateur poets from the college.

The Poetry Slam was amazing! Thanks to all of the student poet-performers and audience. We hope you had as much fun as we did.
