Research Interests
My research is focused on organic synthesis of biologically relevant natural products and the development of novel methodology to aid in those syntheses. The natural products of interest contain a wide variety of functional groups and biologically activities ranging from anti-cancer to anti-inflammatory. In particular, one project is focused on treating the symptoms associated with periodontal disease.
