Facilities

At the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, our department spans two campus communities, offering an impressive breadth of highly specialized facilities, well-equipped classrooms, individual studios for students to focus on their work, and several professional exhibition spaces. Our two-campus structure provides students with the resources, tools, and environments needed to explore their creativity, grow their skills, and display their work.

The Benedicta Art Center

The Benedicta Art Center is a comprehensive arts facility encompassing art, design, music, theater, and dance. In addition to well-developed studio and exhibition spaces, the BAC is celebrated as one of Minnesota’s finest cultural institutions and reflects the the colleges’ longstanding commitment to arts education.

The Saint John’s Arts Center is a standalone, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the study of visual art. The building features two dynamic gallery spaces that showcase rotating exhibitions by a mix of local and national artists as well as regular art receptions and artist lectures, making it a hub for inspiration and interaction.
